Diptic

Diptic?
On a desktop computer it’s relatively easy to take multiple photos and combine them into one. Taking two photos and putting them side by side to come up with a new photo for example is not a big deal. All that’s needed is the right piece of software and you’re set. And the truth of the matter is that there are several properly good photo editors out there.
Doing the same on an iOS-powered device, an iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, doesn’t have to be a difficult task either. Not if you have the right app installed on your device it doesn’t. The right app in this situation is Diptic, an app developed by Peak Systems, a full service interactive firm based in Seattle, WA.
There are several things that make this app stand out:
Ease of use – you will immediately feel at home using this application. It’s so easy to use that even the novice will not have a problem getting started with Diptic. That’s great, because I can’t imagine anyone being content with having to go through a steep learning curve to use an app.
Functionality – you can use this app to put two or more pics side by side, to come up with a photographic series, to create a personalized collage, to juxtapose images. There are 19 layouts to choose from; simply pick the one you need, select the pics you want to use, and let Diptic do its job. You can use pics shot right then and there, pics from your photo library, or pics from Facebook, Flickr and Posterous.
It’s social – the app lets you share the images you come up with via Facebook or Flickr for example. Speaking of Flickr, you can check out some images the Diptic community posted on Flickr here. The images should give you a better idea of what the app has to offer.
Want an app that’s user friendly, looks good, and allows you to easily combine multiple images into a good looking collage? The Diptic app can seamlessly do that and you are very well advised to get this app.
